Ashok Selvan, a police officer unwillingly forced by his family to assist police officer Sarathkumar in a case investigation. Meanwhile, women continue to be brutally murdered in Trichy district. How will Ashok Selvan and Sarathkumar, who take up the serial murder case, find the killer? The reason for the killings is ‘war industry’.
Sarathkumar’s seasoned performance adds tremendous strength to his character. Although Sarathkumar has acted as a police officer in many films, his performance in this film is so fresh that one can enjoy his character. The way he handles the politics of the police force as a top officer, his acting in every scene without any emotion has added strength to the screenplay.
Ashok Selvan portrays what it’s like to be a police officer with a fearful personality. Ashok Selvan, who has focused on even the smallest facial expressions, has acted in competition with the experienced Sarathkumar.
Nikhila Vimal, who plays the heroine, is also in the police department. Although there are no romantic songs and scenes, she has done her job flawlessly as the heroine who travels with the story.
PL Thenappan, Shadows Ravi, Santhosh Keezatur, Sunil Sukada, Sarishkumar, OAK Sundar in other roles are all suitable choices for the character.
Cinematographer Kalaselvan Sivaji has beautifully shot the entire film. He has shot the night scenes very clearly.
Jakes Bjoy’s background music has traveled well for the suspense thriller genre.
Sreejith Sarang has edited the film so that the pace of the screenplay and scenes does not slow down throughout the film.
While there have been many films in the crime suspense thriller genre centered on psycho murders, director Vignesh Raja and writer Alfred Prakash have written this story in a different way.
Although the story is about finding the killer, the way it is told and the way the characters are shaped makes the film enjoyable. Especially the negative qualities of Sarathkumar and Ashok Selvan’s characters that make them travel with the investigation of the murder case add to the film’s interestingness.
Director Vignesh Raja takes us into the story right from the start of the film and moves each scene excitingly and interestingly till the end of the film. Even as we approach the final scene, our eyes leave the screen and the thriller scenes are crafted.
