Rama, who was about to take over as the king of Ayodhya, is sent to exile for 14 years due to a conspiracy, Sita is kidnapped by Ravana, Raman, who goes in search of Sita, defeats Ravana with the help of the monkey army, rescues Sita from Lanka, and rescues the slaves there, ‘Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama’ is designed to be enjoyed by children and adults alike through animation.
The main aspects of the Ramayana, such as the gigantic figure of Ravana’s younger brother Kumbhakarna, the bird Jatayu trying to save Sita when Ravana abducts her, and the adventures of Hanuman scaling a mountain for herbs, have been beautifully depicted through graphics.
In such a situation where book reading is declining, it is interesting and enjoyable to try to bring the Ramayana to the current generation of youth through simple storytelling and animated scenes.
Senthil Kumar, who has given the voice to the character of Rama, T. Maheshwari, who has given the voice to Sita, Praveen Kumar, who has given the voice to Ravana, Thyagarajan, who has given the voice to Lakshmana, Lokesh, who has given the voice to Hanuman, and Ravuri Haritha, who narrates the story of Ramayana, have all done their job well.
The war scenes and the actions of the monkey armies involved in it through 2D animation, which is loved by children, will definitely entertain the children. In particular, the scenes of the monkey army trying to escape from Kumbhakarna will make children watch the film again and again. The aerial battle between Indrajit and Lakshman, Ravana’s Pushpaka Vimana, the fort, etc. are all designed very beautifully through graphics.
The sound design, graphics technologies and the colors used in it will definitely delight not only children but also adults.
