Atharva, the hero, is trying to direct a film, but he lives alone because he does not like the actions of his father, a police inspector, Sarathkumar. Dushyant, a schoolboy, is angry with his parents because they are against his wishes and sees his school teacher Rahman as a hero.
At this time, teacher Rahman’s daughter Ammu Abhirami suddenly goes missing. The journey to find her reveals the other faces of people and the consequences that arise from it is ‘Nirangal Muru’.
Atharva, who plays a young man living in a fantasy world through drugs, has handled it well, even though it is a controversial role.
Rahman, who plays the role of a teacher who is a role model for students, shocks with his other color, but also makes us think about the background of such atrocities happening in the society.
Although Sarathkumar is not new to playing a police officer, the role of a father who wears khaki and the noble performance he has displayed in it is applauded.
Although Dushyant Jayaprakash does not have the appearance of a schoolboy, he has played a vibrant young man well. Ammu Abhirami, who plays a schoolgirl, has also done the job given flawlessly.
Jakes Bijoy’s music, DJ Tommy’s cinematography, and Srijith Sarang’s editing have all helped to convey the simple story in an interesting way.
Director Karthik Narain, who has written the screenplay for the story that takes place in a day in a linear manner, has not only made it a thrilling suspense thriller with unpredictable twists but also conveyed a good message through the other color within humans.
