The music and preview of the film ‘Ottha Ottu Muthaiya’, in which Tamil film industry’s leading comedian actor ‘Comedy King’ Goundamani plays the main character in the story, was released. For this, at an event held at the Kamala Cinema Complex in Chennai, leading personalities of the Tamil film industry, including Director K. Bhagyaraj, Director P. Vasu, and Producer K. Rajan, jointly released the music and preview of the film, which was received by the film crew.
The film ‘Ottha Otu Muthaiah’, directed by Sai Rajagopal, features ‘Comedy King’ Goundamani, Yogi Babu, Mottai Rajendran, Singamuthu, Chitra Lakshmanan, Ravi Maria, Vaiyapuri, O. A. K. Sundar, Cool Suresh, Dr. Gayathri, Anumohan, Muthukkalai, Vasan Karthik, Anbu Mayilsamy, Kajesh Nagesh, Rajeshwari, Bindu, Aparna, Sai Tanya, Temple City Kumar, Dharani, Senrayan, Lekha Sri, D. K. Srinivasan and many others in the lead roles. The cinematography of this film is done by S. Kathavarayan and music is composed by Siddharth Vipin. The editing work is done by S. P. Raja Sethupathi and Mahesh Nambi has taken care of the art direction. This film, which mixes politics and comedy, has been jointly produced by producers M. E. Ravi Raja and Kovai Lakshmi Rajan under the banner of Cinecraft Productions and Kutty Story Pictures. The film is presented by Five Star Senthil.
The music and preview launch of the film, which will be released in theaters worldwide on Valentine’s Day on the 14th, was attended by cinematographer S. Kathavarayan, art director Mahesh Nambi, actors Anu Mohan, Ravi Maria, Madurai Kumar, O. A. K. Sundar, Vaiyapuri, Cisar Manohar, C. N. Ranganathan, Kajesh, lyricists Mohan Rajan, Snehan, music composer Siddharth Vipin, Five Star Senthil, producers S. Kathiresan, K. Rajan, directors P. Vasu, K. Bhagyaraj, along with ‘Comedy King’ Goundamani and many others.
Lyricist Mohan Rajan said, “This is a happy moment. I got the opportunity to write songs for last year’s successful films ‘Lapparbandhu’ and ‘Demonty Colony 2’. This year, I have written two songs for the film ‘Otha Odtu Muthaiah’ starring the superstar of the comedy world, Comedy King Goundamani. I thank music composer Siddharth Vipin and director Rajagopal for this opportunity. Goundamani has been my favorite person since I was a child. I am proud to have him and Bhagyaraj sir together on this stage. This film will definitely be a big success. I request everyone to support this,” he said.
Co-producer of the film, Kovai Lakshmi Rajan said, “This is my first stage. I want to share only one thing. Even at sunrise, there is a minute of delay. But our brother Goundamani never comes to the shooting site even a minute late. I am happy to announce that he will come at the right time,” he said.
Actress Hima Bindu said, “This is a happy day in my life. I consider it a great privilege to act with legendary actor Goundamani. I first thank God for this. My thanks to everyone who has come here,” he said.
Actor Ravi Maria said, “Six years ago, I dreamed of acting with Goundamani. That dream has come true. The way he spoke to us respectfully on the set was amazing. I would rehearse before the scene so that no mistakes would be made while acting with him on the set. Even during that rehearsal, he would speak his lines for me. His interest in the development of an artist was evident at that time.
At this juncture, I owe it to director K. Bhagyaraj to thank him. Without him, there would be no Goundamani. He was the one who introduced Goundamani to Bharathiraja.
I would also thank director P Vasu. I recently acted in the film ‘Chandramukhi 2’ under his direction. He interacts with everyone very easily on the set. Goundamani’s acting and dialogues in films like ‘Chinnathambi’, ‘Natigan’, ‘Walter Vetrivel’ and ‘Malabar Police’ directed by P. Vasu have reached heights. It is a pleasure to have the person who introduced Goundamani and the person who took her to great heights on the same stage.
Director Sai Rajagopal has planned well and completed the film on time. This ‘Otha Otu Muthaiya’ will get seven and a half crore votes in Tamil Nadu. I wish this film success,” he said.
