A gun goes missing from the police station. A team led by trainee sub-inspector Nayagan Dharshan gets involved in the effort to find the gun. Dharshan, who is forced to find the missing gun within four days, gets into trouble through the rowdy Sujith. ‘Surrender’ is a thrilling story of how he manages to overcome the difficult situations of having to escape from that problem and also find the missing gun and find solutions to the problems.
The police uniform fits Dharshan, who plays the hero, perfectly and looks majestic. Dharshan, who has also made good progress in acting, has scored in action scenes and emotional scenes.
Lal, who plays the role of the head constable, who reflects that being a good person does not make you live in this world, has added strength to the character and the film with his experienced acting.
Sujith, who plays the villain, is intimidating in the role of a rowdy. Although his actions of hunting down enemies, threatening and beating up policemen are a bit over the top, Sujith has earned a place in the minds of the people with his balanced acting.
The scenes in which Munishkanth appears make you laugh. All the stars like Padini Kumar, Arul D. Shankar, Mansoor Ali Khan, Kaushik, and Sundareswaran, who are also actors, have done their job well.
Cinematographer Meiyendran has shot the night scenes and fight scenes very well.
Music composer Vikash Padisha’s background music increases the excitement and excitement of the film.
Editor Renu Gopal has proven through his elegant editing that even a simple matter can be told in a very interesting way.
Written and directed by Gauthaman Ganapathy, he has given a complete action thriller film with a very simple incident and a thrilling screenplay and scenes.
The way the police work, the ego in the police station and the problems that arise from it have been told naturally and authentically have given the film additional interest.
Director Gauthaman Ganapathy, who moves the film with the expectation of what will happen in the next scenes, keeps the audience on a journey with tension to the point that they do not realize that the two and a half hours have passed.
