‘Case of Sitaram’ is a sequel to ‘Sitaram Benzi Case No. 18’ and ‘Case of Kondana’. Although it is a sequel to the previous parts, the story of this film is handled in a way that will appeal to those who have only watched this part.
People of a certain age are brutally murdered. Before being murdered, the autopsy reports indicate that they were subjected to severe attacks all over their bodies, and the doctor says that only a mentally ill person could have done this. With only two things in mind, the doctor’s information and the uniform murder, the hero Vijaya Raghavendra, a police officer who is looking for the killer who commits such brutal murders, how does he catch the killer? And what is the background to the murders? ‘Second Case of Sitaram’ is a sensational story.
Vijaya Raghavendra, the hero who plays a police officer, perfectly conveys the body language of the police in his performance and attracts attention. His investigative journey in search of the murderer without any clues, and Dhoni, who conducts the investigation, makes the audience travel with him are the greatest strengths of the film.
Gopalakrishna Deshpande, who plays the main character, is praised for handling the intimidating character with different actions in a way that amazes the audience.
Usha Bhandari, who plays the hero’s sister, acts with moderation even in places where she could have acted excessively and attracts attention.
Cinematographer Hemanth’s camera travels in a way that makes the audience travel with the police officer’s thoughts. The light and colors used in the scenes ensure that the attention is not distracted from the film.
Navneet Shami’s music travels as the character of the film. The background music, which creates a kind of flutter in the minds of the audience even in quiet environments, has added extra strength to the film.
Shashank Narayana’s editing is sharp, but the scenes move slowly in some places.
Devi Prasad Shetty, who has directed the film as a continuation of the previous crime suspense thriller parts, has introduced new features in the screenplay as if he has handled the connections perfectly, and has intimidated in the making.
Although the series of murders and the police officer’s attempts to find the background to it are very interesting from the beginning to the end of the film, the lack of pressure for the reason for the murders weakens the film a bit. However, the film’s making and character design, and the acting skills of the actors who played it, hide the weaknesses and make the film enjoyable.
