Produced by Malali Manvi Movie Makers, D Studios, and Denvi Productions (Sunny Denvi), with Prabha Premkumar as co-producer, the film’s teaser was unveiled yesterday. The songs composed by leading music director Harris Jayaraj had already received a strong response, and the newly released teaser has quickly grabbed attention on social media within hours of its launch.
The teaser begins as a beautiful love story but, in line with its title “Reset” and “Repeat,” it unfolds with unexpected twists, emotional moments, and a fresh narrative style that piques viewers’ curiosity. It suggests that Kadhal Reset Repeat is not a conventional romantic film, but one that promises surprises and an intriguing take on love.
The film stars Madhumkesh and Jia Shankar as the lead pair, alongside prominent Malayalam actor Arjun Ashokan in a key role. The supporting cast includes MS Bhaskar, Jayaprakash, and Viji Chandrasekhar, among others. Notably, director Vijay, known for introducing fresh talent to Tamil cinema, presents Madhumkesh and Jia Shankar through this project.
The cinematography is handled by Aravind Krishna, editing by Anthony, art direction by Saravanan Vasanth, stunt choreography by Manohar Varma, and costume design by Ruchi Munoth. Lyrics have been penned by Vairamuthu, Karky, and Argus Aryan. The film’s audio rights have been acquired by T-Series.
Kadhal Reset Repeat is set for a worldwide theatrical release on March 6. In Tamil Nadu, the film will be distributed by Romeo Pictures. The team has also announced that official updates regarding the audio launch and trailer release will be revealed soon.
