Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya and director Chandoo Mondeti’s crazy project #NC23 to be produced by Bunny Vasu and presented by Allu Aravind on the Geetha Arts banner will start rolling in December. This is one of the most awaited movies given Naga Chaitanya is one of the versatile stars, whereas Chandoo Mondeti delivered a Pan India blockbuster with his last Karthikeya 2, and Geetha Arts is one of the leading production houses in India that delivered numerous hits. #NC23 will be the most expensive movie for Naga Chaitanya who will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar.
Naga Chaitanya celebrates his birthday tomorrow. However, the makers provided a big treat a day prior to his birthday. They announced a powerful title, Thandel, and also launched the first look poster. Thandel means energetic, charismatic, ambitious, and focused. If a person has a true passion for something, he can give everything for it.
Naga Chaitanya switched to beast mode to play a fisherman in the movie and has undergone intense workouts for the last few months to gain this muscular look. He sports a rugged look with long hair and beard. Sitting on a boat with an oar in his hand, Naga Chaitanya is seen giving a stern gaze in the first-look poster flaunting his chiseled physique in a vest. The first look poster is as arresting as the title and it generates a lot of inquisitiveness for the movie, though it is yet to go on set.
The story of the movie is based on real incidents and the shoot will mostly take place in original locations. Paired opposite Naga Chaitanya in the movie is Sai Pallavi and this is their second movie together, after the superhit Love Story. Thandel is also a love story with a completely different backdrop.
The makers zeroed in on well-known technicians to handle different crafts. As the story has a good scope for music, National-award-winning composer- Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is roped in to beautify the love story with his soundtracks and score. Shamdat will crank the camera to offer a visual spectacle. Srinagendra Tangala will look after the art department.
The team has spent enough time on the pre-production work and the regular shoot begins in December.
