Actor Vijay said that it was a special feeling to work with A R Rahman on the music legend’s 25th year in film industry.
Talking at the Mersal audio launch in Chennai on Sunday night, he said that the movie is close to his heart and he liked the ‘vera level’ confidence of director Atlee.
He added that more than hits, flops and blockbusters his fans are the wealth that he has earned.
The album of the movie composed by Rahman consisting of four songs was released during the function and all numbers gone viral instantly.
Directed by Atlee, this is the 61st film of the actor and is produced by Thenandal Studios banner.
It may be noted that this is the 100th film of the production house, started by late.
