Producer Y. Ravi Shankar said the director narrated the story with three distinct layers — thriller, family drama and spirituality. He said the team was initially surprised by how these elements could be combined, but Siva Nirvana executed the concept effectively.
He praised Ravi Teja, Priya Bhavani Shankar and the technical crew, describing the film as a potential cult classic that South Indian audiences would enjoy with their families.
Priya Bhavani Shankar
Priya Bhavani Shankar said she developed strong confidence in the film when she first heard the story.
She added that the arrival of G.V. Prakash Kumar as the composer gave her confidence that the film’s songs would become major hits. She praised director Siva Nirvana for sticking to his original story without making unnecessary changes, despite the film featuring a major star.
Priya said working with Ravi Teja was an unforgettable experience and expressed pride in being part of the film.
She also emphasised that language should not be a barrier for audiences and concluded emotionally:

Director Siva Nirvana spoke about his emotional connection with Tamil cinema and his admiration for filmmakers such as Bharathiraja and K. Bhagyaraj.
He said his aim is to make films that leave audiences with something meaningful when they walk out of the theatre.
According to him, Irumudi Kattu is designed as a film that families can watch and enjoy together. He believes the story will make audiences think about their daughters and wives even after leaving the theatre.

Music composer G.V. Prakash Kumar said that a strong story is essential for good film music. After hearing the story of Irumudi Kattu, he immediately felt that it had the potential to become a successful film.
