Mumbai don Ajith Kumar, known as the Red Dragon, gives up his ‘bad’ nature for his son and turns ‘good’, surrenders to the police and serves an 18-year prison sentence. After completing his sentence, Ajith goes to meet his wife Trisha and son living in Spain. In order to save his son who is caught up in a big problem and is serving a sentence in prison, he takes on not only the ‘bad’ avatar but also the ‘ugly’ avatar. How does he save his son? Who got his son into trouble? For what? ‘Good Bad Ugly’ is a mass telling.

Ajith Kumar, who has shown his acting skills in Red Dragon and AK, has organized a mass festival for his fans to celebrate. He has shown mass in every move, he handles everything from dialogue delivery, action, sentiment towards his son in moderation and makes the fans clap and whistle at times.

Although Trisha, who plays Ajith’s wife, does not have as many romantic scenes as expected, she is present throughout the film. She has done her job of looking at Ajith lustfully and fighting at times.

Arjun Das, who plays the villain, has threatened in two roles, Johnny and Jami. While Ajith looks stylish and massy on one side, Arjun Das, who draws the attention of the fans towards him with his intimidating performance, has not only acted but also celebrated his character by giving stylish swag to the songs “Ottha Rupee Thaarein…” and “Tottu Tottu Besum Sultana…”.

The screen presence of Sunil, Prasanna, Priya Warrier, Prabhu, and the special appearance of Simran and Saint Tom Jacko have helped in the commercial aspects.

Cinematographer Abhinandan Ramanujam has filmed the scenes with Ajith in his heart. No matter what angle he is shown, he has made Trisha look young. The entire film has been presented in a colorful and grand manner.

The way old songs have been remade in G.V. Prakash Kumar’s music is amazing. It makes you feel good. Although the sudden gana songs and the commercial masala in the background music are a bit heavy, it has traveled in accordance with the buildups in the scenes.

Although the film has so much to offer in three parts – Ajith’s mafia life, marriage, and childbirth – the work of editor Vijay Velukutty, who has condensed it into 2 hours and 20 minutes, has added great strength to the film.

The work of stunt director Supreme Sundar, costume designers Anu Vardhan, Rajesh Kumarasu, and art director G.M. Shekhar also shines on the screen.

Written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran, he has organized a huge mass festival with the mass hero Ajith. Not as a director but as a fan of Ajith, he has designed the scenes by enjoying everything, standing, walking, laughing, staring, falling in love, worrying, and driving a car.

Although the film lacks logic, director Adhik Ravichandran has created great magic with the mass hero Ajith, satisfying Ajith fans with a huge action and mass feast.
