The pan-India action film “Slum Dog,” starring People’s Star Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, is jointly produced by Puri Connects and JB Motion Pictures. Directed by the well-known filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, the film has been creating huge anticipation among fans right from the beginning.
The grand teaser launch event was held with great excitement in Chennai. The event was graced by the film crew, media representatives, and several film industry personalities.
Director Puri Jagannadh, producer Charmme Kaur, and actor Vijay Sethupathi, along with the film team, interacted with the media and fans.
Since the title announcement and first-look poster release, “Slum Dog” has generated strong expectations, and several interesting details about the film were shared at the event.

The opportunity came suddenly. Puri Jagannadh sir called me, and I immediately remembered ‘Pokiri.’ He is a legendary director who has delivered many blockbuster films.
On set, he is very simple and humble despite his success.
I am acting in a very different role in this film, which I really enjoyed.
I cannot reveal much about the character now, but I thoroughly enjoyed performing it.
On set, Vijay Sethupathi’s dedication impressed me a lot. He writes down Telugu dialogues and memorizes them. He works with full focus without resting much in the caravan.
I also saw the same dedication in him that I had seen in the Chief Minister (reference to earlier career experience mentioned).
