Discovery) today unveiled the electrifying trailer for Jurassic World: Rebirth, priming the audiences to a groundbreaking return of the iconic dinosaur franchise that has captivated global audiences for decades. Directed by BAFTA winner Gareth Edwards, this epic action-adventure features a stellar cast like Academy Award nominee Scarlet Johansson, Emmy nominee and Olivier Award winner Jonathan Bailey, Mahershala Ali, and other rising stars like Luna Blaise, and Rupert Friend. The film focuses on the aftermath of the Jurassic World Dominion, where the remaining dinosaurs exist in an isolated equatorial environment that resembles the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures within that environment hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind. Jonathan Bailey will be seen as Dr. Henry Loomis, a paleontologist, whereas Scarlet Johansson plays skilled covert operations expert Zora Bennett, who leads a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material from the world’s three most massive dinosaurs. Her operation intersects with a civilian family whose boating expedition was capsized by aquatic dinos, where they all find themselves stranded on an island where they come face-to-face with a shocking discovery that’s been hidden from the world for decades.
