The upcoming film Angikaram has been awarded a U (Universal) certificate by the Censor Board, making it suitable for audiences of all ages. The film has already attracted attention through its trailer, dialogues, and first single track.
Produced by Swasthik Visions and directed by debut filmmaker Thenpathiyan, the film stars newcomer K. J. R in the lead role. The trailer and the first single, Satta Satta Satta Saandrore, have already been released and are receiving a positive response from audiences.
Composed by Ghibran, written by lyricist Karthik Netha, and sung by Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, the song presents thought-provoking ideas that question both the legal system and society. Its powerful message has attracted significant attention.
Based on several real-life incidents, Angikaram focuses on the struggles faced by athletes and their fight for recognition. The story revolves around an athlete who takes his battle to court in order to claim a right that has been denied to him.
The film is directed by Thenpathiyan, a former assistant of acclaimed filmmaker Pa. Ranjith. The film’s dialogues have already become a talking point among viewers.
