After making a successful debut in Tamil cinema with the film *“Tharunam”*, producers Pugazh and Eden are back with their second production, *“Nee Forever”*, under their banner Zhen Studios. Directed by Ashok Kumar Kalaivani, the film revolves around modern-day love and the lifestyle of today’s youth.
Sudharshan Govind, winner of *Naalaya Iyakkunar Season 6*, plays the male lead, while Archana Ravi, Miss South India 2016 from Kerala, makes her debut as the female lead. The film also stars Y.G. Mahendran, Nizhalgal Ravi, M.J. Sriram, Rethika Srinivas, Chella, Brinda, Dr. Vidhya, Pradosh, Sneha Shakti, and many others.
The story is centered on Gen-Z culture, focusing on a couple who meet through a modern dating app and the consequences it brings into their lives. The film is a blend of comedy, romance, and emotional drama, designed to appeal to all audiences.
The audio and trailer launch event of the film, which is set to release on March 27, was held yesterday at Prasad Lab in Chennai. The cast and crew attended the event and shared many interesting insights about the film.
Editor S.A. Nagarajun expressed his gratitude to the director and team for the opportunity and said the film was made with a strong concept after six months of hard work.
Choreographer Vijayarani mentioned that three out of five songs were shot beautifully within a short time and budget, and appreciated the efforts of the entire team.
Music composer Ashwin Hemant described the film as a two-year journey made by a small team with big dreams. He highlighted the creative freedom he received and praised the performances and technical team.
Dr. Vidhya said the film was a surprise opportunity for her and described it as an emotional family story that will appeal to both youth and older audiences.
