Produced by Sky Pictures in association with Dr. N. Yogeswaran and distributor-producer Five Star Senthil, Kalidas 2 is an intense thriller directed by Sri Senthil, who delivered the successful film Kalidas, and stars Bharath in the lead role.
Director Sri Senthil, who made a mark by directing the first part, has also helmed this sequel. Along with Bharath, Ajay Karthi plays a key role. Actress Sangeetha, famous for Poove Unakkaga, makes a comeback after a long gap with an important role in this film. Bhavani Sre and Aparnathi are also part of the cast.
The first part surprised everyone as an investigative thriller centered around a family. In the same style, this second part is also made as an emotional yet action-packed, gripping thriller.
Sam C.S. has composed the music, Suresh Bala has handled cinematography, and Bhuvan Srinivasan has done the editing.
The film is produced by Five Star Senthil and Dr. N. Yogeswaran under Sky Pictures. As their previous releases like Parking, Garudan, and Maharaja were successful, Kalidas 2 has created high expectations among the industry and audiences. The film will release worldwide in theatres on April 10.
