The title teaser of the upcoming Tamil film “Anbe Diana”, starring Bari Ilavazhagan of Jama fame and Ramya Ranganathan, has been released and is already going viral on social media. Produced jointly by Million Dollar Studios and Neo Castle Creations, the film is directed, written, and headlined by Bari Ilavazhagan, with Yuvaraj Ganesan and Satya Karikalan as co-producers.
After successes with films like Good Night, Lover, and Tourist Family, Million Dollar Studios marks its seventh production with “Anbe Diana”, bringing a fresh story set in North Chennai.
The teaser opens with a vibrant depiction of Perambur, showing a side of the city rarely seen on screen. It introduces the mid-class lifestyle of a young North Chennai man, highlighting his family members’ distinct personalities and his own “local style” outside the home. The film blends romance, comedy, and family drama as the protagonist falls in love with an Anglo-Indian girl. Cultural differences, language barriers, and lifestyle contrasts drive humorous and thrilling moments in the story, keeping audiences curious about what happens next.
Veteran actress Roja makes a comeback in a full-length role after a long hiatus. Other key cast members include Sethan, viral YouTuber Paridhapangal Gopi, Ismat Banu, Sudarshan Gandhi, and Sel Murugan.
Parth Shankar, known for films like Mandela and Maveeran, has composed the music, while cinematography is by Shelly Calist (Aruvi, Shakthi Thirumagan). Vartha handled editing, and Mahendran oversaw art direction. Lyrics for the songs were penned by Mohanraj, Muthamiz, and Bakiyam Shankar.
