Vikram Prabhu from Madurai district is 33 years old and still unmarried. All the women who look at him reject him, but eventually Sushmitha Bhat from Coimbatore agrees to marry him. Accordingly, the wedding ceremony for the two takes place at the bride’s house, and the groom and his family have to stay there that night.
Meanwhile, due to the Corona curfew being imposed, the groom’s family stays at the bride’s house for a few more days. During this time, Vikram Prabhu tries to talk to Sushmitha and get to know her. But, she avoids even looking at Vikram Prabhu’s face and suddenly one day, she leaves the house. What happened after that? Did Vikram Prabhu get married? Or not? ‘Love Marriage’ is a lively story about what happened after that?
Even though Vikram Prabhu is going through the sadness of not getting married, he has acted well in the scenes where he copes with it without showing it on his face. Even in the scene where he is angry at the end despite being restrained, Vikram Prabhu has shown a difference in acting that has never been seen before in this film.
Sushmita Bhatt, who plays the heroine, is beautiful in some scenes, and in some scenes she looks much older. However, she has done the job given to her flawlessly.
Meenakshi Dinesh, who plays the heroine’s sister, Sathyaraj, Ramesh Thilak, Gajaraj, and Aruldas, who make special appearances, have all acted in a restrained manner.
The music by Sean Roldan is enjoyable, with songs and background music. Madhan Christopher’s cinematography has captured the scenes in a colorful manner. Bharat Vikraman’s editing is also impeccable.
Written and directed by Shanmuga Priyan, the film has been directed as a lively family story, a love story. Although there is little romance, there is plenty of excitement and entertainment.
Although the fact that certain characters talk too much and the story moves in one place seems a bit lacking, it is a complete entertainment film that can be watched with the family.
