Shah Rukh Khan, a soldier, is branded a traitor and killed when he busts a scam. His wife Deepika Padukone goes to jail after killing her husband’s assailants. There she gives birth to a boy. Who is he who tells the child about his father, disproves the guilt placed on him when he grows up? He takes an oath to let the country know that. ‘Jaawan’ tells the story of Shahrukh Khan, a grown-up son, who fulfills his promise to his mother, adding social issues to the excitement and action.

Shah Rukh Khan has played the role of Vikram Rathore as the father and Asad as the son. Not only in dramatic action scenes, but also in all areas like love and emotional, he takes the fans in a celebratory mood in every scene.

Nayanthara, who is playing the role of a police officer, is not only in the action scenes but also in the romantic scenes and gets a flash. Though he fades a bit in the second half, he re-enters as the climax approaches.

Vijay Sethupathi, who plays the villain, is not stylish but menacing with his badass. However, it seems that his role could have been elaborated even more.

Deepika Padukone’s scenes are eye-popping. Even if he comes and goes in a few scenes, his role and the way he acted in it are strongly imprinted in the mind.

All the women who have played prison inmates including Priya Mani have exploded.

Cinematographer G.K.Vishnu has captured the vibrancy of the scenes beautifully, though each scene has been grandly displayed. The one who has shown Shah Rukh Khan at a very young age has handled the double role scenes flawlessly.

Anirudh’s music adds tremendous strength to the film. Both the songs and the background score increase the pace of the scenes and move the film briskly.

The work of stunt directors including Anal Govt, Yannick Penn, and cinematographer Reuben also gets attention.

The screenplay by director Atlee and S.Ramanakirivasan is designed to reveal the background of the scams taking place in the country.

Banks that encourage farmers to commit suicide for a loan of 40 thousand rupees, why give a discount only to businessmen who cannot pay after taking a loan of 40 thousand crores? The film starts with the question, and through the subsequent scenes, it travels to the whip of the politicians.

Although the film talks about social problems, Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan has been shown in masses and director Atlee, who has directed the film interestingly to celebrate not only his fans but also fans from all walks of life, even though the film has been completely commercialized, he talks about social problems vividly and gets applause.

This ‘Jawan’ has proved that director Atlee, who has made an entry in Bollywood with Kollywood crew, will definitely be a leading director in Bollywood cinema from now on.
