Sasi Kumar, Preethi Asrani, Yashpal Sharma @ Ayothi Movie Review

Yashpal Sharma, an ardent Rama devotee from Kashi, comes to Rameswaram with his wife, daughter and son. Anju Asrani, the wife of Yashpal Sharma, dies in an accident on the way while going to Rameswaram by a rented car from Madurai. Sasikumar comes forward to help them as they try to take the body to Kashi by plane.

Meanwhile, Yashpal Sharma stops the post-mortem saying it is against their culture. But when the body can be taken by air only after performing many medical procedures including post-mortem, was the body flown to Kashi? Isn’t it? What happened to Sasikumar’s attempt to help them? Ayodhya is the answer to such questions.

Sasi Kumar Ayothi Movie Review
When you see the title Ayodhya, it is a sensational spiritual political film! It appears that. But this ‘Ayodhya’ has spoken very strongly about humanity without any politics.

Although Yashpal Sharma, who lives with a male-dominated mentality, is an ardent Ram devotee, he shows seriousness in his performance by spitting wherever he sees the Akmarka of the northern state and making service to God as a profession.

Preeti Asrani’s performance as Yashpal Sharma’s daughter has left the audience in awe. Unable to resist and endure his father’s oppression, he is applauded in places where he is disturbed by his mother’s condition and her body after her death. He has added tremendous strength to the film with his emotional performance in many places.

Sasikumar, who is playing a character rather than a protagonist, has flawlessly done what the story requires. However, the lack of opportunity for the actor Sasikumar is not only his role but also the movie itself.

Anju Asrani who plays the role of Yashpal Sharma’s wife Janaki is very natural. Her character is designed to speak loudly about the fact that even in this age when women are making progress in many fields, women continue to be slaves to men. The actor who plays the role naturally, even after his death, he is amazing by acting as a corpse.

The story revolves around Sasikumar, Yashpal Sharma, Preeti Asrani, Anju Asrani, but none of them stick out in the mind, even though there are many characters including Bose Venkat, Prema, Vinod.

The camera of the cinematographer Madesh Manikam, who has traveled from Khasi to Rameswaram, has shot the scenes beautifully. He has shown new places without displaying the usual Kashi shown in movies and has also captured the emotions of the actors beautifully.

Music director NR Raghunandan’s music is modest, but the background music adds extra strength to the scenes and the performances of the characters.

Mantramurthy, who has written and directed the story, moves the story from the opening scene to the ending scene by showing the emotions of the people to the maximum extent. While they are the film’s strength, they also become weak at some points.

Keeping the identity of Sasikumar, director Manthiramoorthy, who did not give him a proper opportunity throughout the film, diverts the attention of the fans towards Sasikumar by making his character stand at the peak only in the final scene.

The director Mantramurthy, who has told the message that people should only admire the person who transcends religion as a teaching, but keeping the life of the people naturally, moves the first half very naturally and carefully and gets praise. But in the second half, trying to move it as a regular movie with a punch line at the police station is a bit of a drag.

Apart from such small flaws, when viewed as a complete film, ‘Ayodhi’ stands out in the mind because of the way the actors have acted, the scenes have been shot naturally, the emotions of the characters have been spoken without talking about unnecessary things.

All in all, ‘Ayodhi’ is an emotional film that changes the mindset of people.
