Padavettu Movie Review
In a village dependent on agriculture, the Gram Sabha administrators fulfill the needs of the villagers. Meanwhile, the leader of the political party in the village announces free schemes to the people and plans to expropriate the agricultural lands of the village. Nivin Pauly, the hero who is the beginning of the politician’s plan, at one point rages that enough is enough, what happened to the politician and his plan? Saying that is a ‘film’.

Nivin Pauly, who gives a quiet performance as an athlete who loses his life due to an accident, is aggressive in his action against the politician. An accident, my life, beloved, all gone,He reflects the youth at the height of despair where he says that everything is gone as a lover. At the same time, his efforts and farming activities inspire the youth to say that it is useless to sit idle.

Aditi Balan, who plays the heroine, has no love scenes and no duet songs. But whenever he appears on the screen, a chemical change takes place in our hearts. Aditi Balan has the power to express her entire love with a look.

Shammi Thilakan, who is playing the role of a politician named Kuyyali, has played the role of a villain, with his natural acting and menacing villainy that has angered the viewers.

Remya Suresh who plays Nivin Pauly’s aunt, Shinee Tom Shacko, Manoj Oman and other actors have all done attention-grabbing performances. Even the actor, who plays Aditi Balan’s ex-husband in just one scene, draws attention with his performance.

Deepak T. Menon’s cinematography brings the beauty of the Kerala villages before our eyes and showcases their lifestyle without any embellishment is an added strength of the film.

The song is all sweet with Govind Vasantha’s music. Especially the rain song that plays in the scene where Nivin Pauly and Aditi Balan fall in love is the kind of song that is heard over and over again. The background music not only travels with the story but also takes us into the scenes. Cinematography by Shafiq Muhammad Ali is exquisite.
Padavettu Movie Review
Director Liju Krishna, who has recorded very strongly how a political party that wants to gain a foothold through free programs then takes anarchy, violence etc. in its hands and wants to control a village, has criticized the BJP government indirectly, but very harshly.

The director, who has shown his opposition in a very destructive manner by indirectly showing the names of the party and their identity, has very skillfully told whom people should oppose and whom they should support.

The film ends with people chanting “Nam Man, Nam Veet, Nam Nadu”. The film tells us very beautifully who we should raise this slogan against, and if we don’t have such courage, what and how we will lose to them.

Overall, ‘Badavetu’ is an awareness campaign to wake people up
