Actor Sivakarthikeyan’s magnum opus film ‘SK14’ produced by RD Raja of 24 AM Studios has been officially titled as ‘Ayalaan’.
Producer RD Raja, 24 Am Studios says, “We at 24AM Studios are overwhelmingly happy to see the storming response for the film’s title announcement. Apart from the excellent reception, it’s really an honour for us in the team to have AR Rahman sir accepting our request to launch it. Right from Day 1, he has been treating this film as his pet project and has been nurturing it with the best ingredients and such an involvement has been our an additional boosting force to work for the better. I am sure; it is very much illustrious with a small bit theme he rendered for the title video.”
Speaking about the film’s title Ayalaan and its significance with the film’s theme, RD Raja adds, “Ayalaan means Alien and then there’s the tag line – Destination Earth. I want to leave the rest to the audiences’ imaginations. Just a word or two more than this would be a spoiler. At the moment, the shooting is proceeding at a brisk pace and we are left with just 2 more schedules for completing the entire filming process. The post-production work is happening simultaneously and there’s a lot involving Visual effects. Ayalaan will be a special milestone for each and everyone involved in the project, including our production house of 24Am Studios.”
Bankrolled by RD Raja for 24 AM Studios, the film will have its release through Kotapadi J Rajesh of KJR Studios. Touted to be a Sci-Fi Fantasy Entertainer, the film has Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. Bollywood actor Sharad Kelkar will be playing an important role alongside Yogi Babu and Karunakaran. The musical score by Academy Award winner AR Rahman, cinematography by Nirav Shah and editing by Ruben have already elevated the film’s expectation meter.
