GV Prakash, who works as a newsreader on television, hopes to make it big in that field. But his progress is hampered by his wife Aishwarya Rajesh. ‘Dear’ is about how he deals with it and the disrespect a woman faces through the snoring problem that humans go through very normally.

GV Prakash, who continues to act in different roles despite releasing one film a week, has played the role of a newsreader and a person who emphasizes sleep in this film. For someone who thinks that a peaceful life is a peaceful sleep, he is unable to face his difficult situation when he becomes the wife of a loud snoring woman. GV Prakash, who is amazing even in small movements, has improved many times in acting.

The heroine Aishwarya Rajesh has added strength to the character by elegantly portraying the humiliations a woman faces due to deafness, though not looked down upon, through her natural performance.

Nandini as the hero’s brother, Kali Venkat as his wife, Thalivasal Vijay as the hero’s father, Rohini as his wife, Illasasu and Geetha Kailasam as the heroine’s parents add strength to the screenplay.

Abdul Lee, who plays the hero’s friend, keeps him laughing and thinking.

Cinematographer Sundaramurthy’s camera has done a great job of conveying the emotions of the characters to the audience.

GV Prakash Kumar’s music has all the songs on repeat. The background music goes along with the story.

Director Anand Ravichandran, who has talked about many issues including the understanding of couples focusing on the heroine’s deaf problem, has also given a good solution to many problems between couples.

Director Anand Ravichandran, who has handled everything like a different story, the way he got work from the actors, elegant screenplay and visuals, has succeeded by giving a film that all parties can enjoy watching.
