I am the change: Rajinikanth

Rajinikanth amid a huge cheer from the crowd
‘There is vacuum created in the state political scenario and I feel that I can fill that gap to serve the people,’ Superstar Rajinikanth said amid a huge cheer from the crowd at the Dr MGR University on Monday.

The actor unveiled a staute of former Chief Minsiter M G Ramachandran and praised laurels on the founder of AIADMK and his leadership qualities.

During the beginning of his speech, he apologised to the public for the trouble created by the banners kept by his fans.

He also asked his fans to refrain from putting up banners in the future. He also explained and gave a strong reply who mocked his spiritual politics statement.

‘It is nothing but a transparent, welfare, and pure government void of caste and religion. Spiritual politics means faith in God,’ he said.

He pointed out that it was the present day politicians that had forced him to enter politics.

‘Many people question why actors come into politics. I have been an actor for more than 25 years now and I have done my duty properly, which is not the case with the politicians,’ he added.

He further said that students should concentrate on studies and not participate in politics.
He also urged the students to study English.

‘The language will develop only if the people develop,’ he said.
