Marking his entry into politics, actor Vishal today filed his nomination to contest in the RK Nagar by-poll.
He began his day this morning by visiting the Kamarajar Memorial in T Nagar and garlanded his statue.
After this he reached MGR’s residence in Ramapuram and paid respects to his statue.
Addressing mediapersons later, he said that no developments have taken place in the constituency in the past few years and people believe that he will do something good If he wins here.
‘I am not a politician and I am contesting in the election to represent the people. I am not a competitor or enemy to anyone,’ he said.
He further stated that he will have the support of the youngsters.
