Naming a movie based on a very popular hit song is never new to Tamil cinema industry. But choosing the right words from the right songs and making the title sound catchy is a task which many directors fail.
“Kannum Kannum kollaiyadithaal”(#KKK) is the title of Dulquer Salmaan’s next Tamil movie. This movie is going to be directed by newcomer Desingh Periyasamy, who has assisted director Vijay Milton before. This venture will be produced by Mr.Francis
Speaking about this , director Desingh Periyasamy says, “This is a travel based love story with all the emotions. When we were looking our for an apt title for quite sometime and these lines from Rahman Sir’s cult hit ‘Kannum Kannum Kollai Adithaal'(#KKK) lines struck to mind immediately. Love and romance cannot be narrated in a single phrase than this. Dulquer Salmaan who has a tremendous fan following, especially among the female audience fits to this lead role. I am sure he will elevate this story to another level with his charm. We have roped in Rithu Varma to play the female lead. K M Bhaskaran will do the cinematography and T Santhanam will take care of the art direction. The first schedule of the shoot is happening in Delhi. I am very much excited to bring my story and screenplay from paper to screen “
