Tamil Nadu State Film Awards 2009 Photos

Tamil Nadu State Film Awards are the most prominent film awards given for Tamil films in India. They are given annually to honour the best talents and provide encouragement and incentive to the South Indian film industry by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The awards are decided by a committee headed by Justice.

Tamil Nadu government today announced film awards for the year 2007 and 2008. Also 2006 – 2007 & 2007 – 2008 Film & Television Institute Student Awards. Justice A.K. Rajan Committee which was assigned to pick the awardees, made the recommendations to the state government.
