The Malayalam film ‘Bethlehem Family Unit’, which was released on August 21 and has become a major critical and commercial success, is now set to release in Tamil across theatres throughout Tamil Nadu from September 4. The Tamil version is being presented jointly by Primark Productions and Future Run Up Films.
Produced by Bhavana Studios and directed by Girish A. D., the film stars Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles. A press meet was held in Chennai to introduce ‘Bethlehem Family Unit’ to Tamil audiences.
The event was attended by producers Fahadh Faasil and Unni Maya Prasad, along with director Girish A. D.

“I don’t really know how to speak in front of a crowd. ‘Bethlehem Family Unit’ is releasing on September 4. Please go to theatres and watch the film with your family. I hope all of you will enjoy it.
The term ‘Bethlehem Family Unit’ refers to the way people living around churches in Kerala are sometimes classified. Some of the characters in this film have been inspired by real people.
The protagonist Justin is a character based on the life of someone I know very well.”
