With Dulquer Salmaan’s highly anticipated film ‘I Am Game’ set to release worldwide in theatres tomorrow (September 3), the film team is actively promoting the movie in every language in which it is being released. As part of the promotions for the Tamil version of ‘I Am Game’, the film team attended a grand pre-release event in Chennai and enthusiastically promoted the movie among Tamil audiences.
The film’s cast and special guests participated in the event and shared their thoughts about ‘I Am Game’ and their experiences working on the film.
Actor Kathir
Speaking at the event, actor Kathir said:
“‘I Am Game’ will be a different film with many surprise elements. There are many more surprises waiting for you in the film beyond what you have seen in the trailer. Every scene has been carefully planned and created to give audiences an experience.
The cinematography will also be an important aspect of the film. I play a cricket captain in the movie. However, before this film, I had very little experience playing cricket. I only played bat-and-ball cricket during my school days. The director’s courage in casting me as a captain is truly surprising.
I learned cricket from scratch for this film and performed accordingly. The experience was so intense that I felt I could retire from cricket after completing this film!
There is a tremendous amount of hard work and confidence behind this film. Dulquer Salmaan’s passion for cinema, especially his willingness to take risks with new stories and different attempts, is very inspiring.
I hope all audiences will support ‘I Am Game’, which releases on September 3.”
Actress Samyuktha Viswanathan
Actress Samyuktha Viswanathan said:
“Having grown up enjoying cinema from a young age, the emotions and impact I experience while watching a film are very important to me. When director Nahas Hidayath first narrated the story of ‘I Am Game’ to me, I immediately decided that I definitely wanted to be part of it.
My character in this film is very different and deeply touched me. The long shooting schedule, particularly the one in Hyderabad, was like an excellent training experience for me.
There were situations where I had to express the emotion required for a scene within a very short period of time. Although that was challenging, it taught me a lot about acting.
Meeting Dulquer Salmaan and working with him was an unforgettable experience.
Although there were many characters in the film, by the end of the shoot, we had all become like a family. Audiences may have seen only a few characters in the trailer, but when they watch the complete film, they will understand the unity and hard work of this entire team.”

When audiences watch ‘I Am Game’, I believe it will almost feel like a Tamil film to them. Many Tamil actors have acted in the movie. Moreover, this is the biggest-budget and most grand-scale production made so far by our production company.
Kathir’s performance in the film is extremely natural and intense. He has played his character with great authenticity.
Mysskin is an important part of the film. The level of enthusiasm and energy he has is rarely seen even among today’s younger generation.
This film will be an important turning point for Samyuktha Viswanathan. Antony Varghese Pepe is one of the major strengths of the film. About the Film
Produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, this grand fantasy thriller is one of the biggest films in his career. Directed by Nahas Hidayath, the movie also marks Dulquer Salmaan’s 40th film.
Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese have jointly produced the film under the Wayfarer Films banner.
The screenplay has been written jointly by Sajeer Baba, Ismail Abu Bakar and Bilal Moidu. The dialogues have been written by Sajeer Baba, Adarsh Sukumaran and Shabaz Rasheed.
The film features Antony Varghese, actor-director Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari and Samyuktha Viswanathan, among others, in important roles.
The music has been composed by Jakes Bejoy, while the action sequences have been choreographed by Anbariv Masters. Zee Music has acquired the music rights.
‘I Am Game’ is releasing as a Pan-India film in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
