Abhirami, the mother of three young girls including Madonna Sebastian, faces a problem from MLA Madhusudhanan. Abhirami goes with her three daughters to meet Public Interest Lawyer Prabhu Deva to resolve the problem. The door of the hotel room where Prabhu Deva is staying is open, but when Abhirami and their daughters go inside, Prabhu Deva is dead.
Since they were the last to see Prabhu Deva, who is dead and has no injuries on his body, the murder will fall on them, so they try to dispose of his body without anyone knowing, and by then four women come to know that Prabhu Deva has Rs. 10 crore in his bank account. Since this money will help them deal with their problems, they try to get hold of the Rs. 10 crore by pretending that Prabhu Deva is alive. Did they manage to do it? What is the background to Prabhu Deva’s death? This is what is jokingly called ‘Jallio Gymkhana’.
Prabhu Deva, who is amazing in lively characters like dance and bottom, plays a corpse throughout the film, although it is surprising that he plays a corpse throughout the film, but he does it very beautifully. Despite playing a corpse, he shows off some of his own mannerisms in some places and impresses the audience with his dances and song scenes. Especially in the final scene, the puppet fight scene he puts on while lifeless is amazing.
Three other women travel throughout the film with Madonna Sebastian and Abhirami, but they are not of great importance. It is welcome that Madonna Sebastian is trying to do comedy for the first time. Abhirami also tries hard to make us laugh along with her. But even though the audience does not notice it, Abhirami…Abhirami…. does not fail to admire him.
Yogi Babu, Redding Kingsley, Madhusudhanan Rao, Sai Dina, Robo Shankar, Kathir, John Vijay, College Vinoth, Y.G. Mahendran, and Sams are not enough, and director Sakthi Chidambaram and the film’s executive producer and lyricist Jagan Kaviraj have mixed comedy in important roles.
Lyricist Jagan Kaviraj, who has given the huge hit song “Policeman Kadtikitta…” that is heard everywhere, is sure to attract attention as an actor with his performances as a caste leader.
All the songs are in the music of Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy. The background music has traveled according to the scenes.
Cinematographer M.C. Ganesh Babu has filmed the scenes in a way that is refreshing to the eye.
Written and directed by Shakthi Chidambaram, although he has traveled again with a different story, he gives importance to his strong comedy in the screenplay and makes the film enjoyable.
Although it is a big challenge to make the hero play a corpse throughout the film, director Shakthi Chidambaram has done it perfectly. Although he directed the film with many stumbling blocks and some shortcomings, he has succeeded by handling all the aspects of a lively entertainment film that can be watched with the family with moderation and honesty.
