Produced by Dinesh Raj under the banner of Zinema Media & Entertainment and directed by debutant Mahesh Rajendran, Love O Love stars Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam fame Pavish in the lead role. Debut actress Naga Durga plays the female lead, while Vanitha Vijayakumar, director K.S. Ravikumar, and several other well-known actors appear in supporting roles.
The film has cinematography by P.G. Muthiah, music composed by Wayne Pavey and Pradeep P.J. under the name FOXn, editing by N.B. Srikanth, and action choreography by Abhishek Srinivas.
The trailer and audio launch of the film, which is scheduled to release in theatres on July 10, was held yesterday morning at Kamala Cinemas, Chennai, in the presence of several film personalities.
Producer Dinesh Raj said, “It was a pleasure working with Dhananjayan sir, who has worked tirelessly for the last two-and-a-half years. We searched for a long time before finding the right hero in Pavish. Naga Durga has acted in Telugu films and became popular through her dance videos on YouTube. This is the composers’ first film, although Parimala & Co. released first. The story will connect with everyone. It delivers a message while also being entertaining and humorous.”
Producer Dhananjayan said, “Watching the trailer on a big screen like Kamala creates a much bigger impact. Thanks to Think Music for their support. Filmmaking is a team effort, and they stood by us throughout. Amazon’s schedule made us work day and night to ensure the film releases on July 10.
People have never failed to celebrate good films. The recent success of Nooru Saami proves that. I request director Sasi sir to give us another hundred films after the ten he has already made.
Vanitha will receive great appreciation after this film. Naga Durga, don’t stop doing YouTube because that’s what brought you here. When I first saw Pavish, he reminded me of Dhanush in his early days. He is already working on two more films and has the potential to become a major hero. But he must remain humble to continue succeeding.”
Producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu said, “You’ve partnered with Dhananjayan, who can make a ₹20 crore film with a ₹10 crore budget. Love never changes, and this film presents it beautifully. I wish the team great success.”
Actor Chitra Lakshmanan said, “Dhananjayan even told Pavish to ask for whatever salary he wanted. He also advised Naga Durga not to leave YouTube—don’t listen to that advice because YouTube is what brought you here. Pavish has performed very well in both the romantic and emotional scenes.”
Producers Council Secretary Kadhiresan praised composers Wayne Pavey, Pradeep P.J., and FOXn for understanding exactly how music can elevate a film.
TFPC Vice President Kamalakannan said that a new OTT platform would soon be launched with the Chief Minister’s support and encouraged producers to make films confidently.
Director R.V. Udayakumar said, “Dhananjayan knows every aspect of filmmaking and will always guide newcomers in the right direction. When I watched the trailer, I was amazed by Pavish’s performance. Learning that he is Kasturi Raja’s grandson made me even happier. Just as Kasturi Raja introduced one son as a director and another as an actor, I hope Pavish also earns a great name for the family.”
Music director Deena said, “When I first saw Dhanush in Thiruda Thirudi 23 years ago, I felt the same excitement I feel today after seeing Pavish. I wish the film great success.”
Director Kasturi Raja said, “Pavish’s mother couldn’t attend today, and I apologize for that. Pavish reminds me of Dhanush. I always told Dhanush to respect time and arrive wherever the director or producer asked him to. He still follows that discipline. Pavish should also grow through his own efforts. Nowadays, I rarely give advice.
In my house, Pavish is special to me, Selvaraghavan is special to my wife, and Pavish’s mother is special to me. Pavish has impressed everyone with just three songs, and both the producer and Dhananjayan speak very proudly about him.”
Director R.K. Selvamani said, “People now remember me as Roja’s husband rather than the one who introduced her—that’s the power of actors. Mahesh narrated this story for nearly one and a half hours, and it felt like I was watching the film itself.
It’s difficult to earn praise from Dhananjayan, but Mahesh has done it. Film releases were once controlled by producers, then actors, and now by OTT platforms. Rajinikanth’s self-confidence was visible in Dhanush from his very first film, and I see that same confidence in Pavish.”
Director Sasi said, “I noticed Balaji Sriram’s musical talent in Parimala & Co. One song alone elevated that film, and I believe Love O Love will also become a major success.”
Actor Ravi Maria praised Mahesh Rajendran’s narration skills and appreciated his earlier work with Dhananjayan.
Director Subramania Siva said, “Pavish should remember Selvamani’s advice. Just as his grandfather achieved success, Pavish too should become a successful actor. He has performed well in every scene. I believe he will one day stand alongside stars like MGR–Sivaji, Rajini–Kamal, Vijay–Ajith, and Simbu–Dhanush.”
Director-producer Lakshmanan said, “When Mahesh narrated this story six years ago, I was convinced it would become a success. Both Mahesh and Pavish have bright futures.”
Music directors FOXn thanked Dhananjayan, Mahesh, and the entire team for the opportunity and expressed confidence that audiences would enjoy the songs.
Actress Naga Durga thanked everyone for supporting the teaser and hoped audiences would extend the same support to the film.
Actor Pavish said:
“Wherever I go, whatever stage I’m on, or whatever I achieve, my first thanks will always be to Dhanush sir. I thank Dhananjayan sir and Dinesh sir for believing in me. Mahesh sir is an excellent storyteller.
Pradeep and Wayne have composed wonderful music together as FOXn. Naga Durga amazed me with her dancing talent even without formal training. The action choreographer made my work much easier.”
Actor Ajay Dhishan wished the film success and praised the performances of Pavish and Naga Durga.
Director Mahesh Rajendran thanked everyone who attended the event and expressed gratitude to Dhananjayan, Dinesh, the cast, crew, and God for making the film possible.
Actress Vanitha Vijayakumar said, “Even after I stepped away from cinema, this team brought me back. Many people appreciated my role, and I’m excited to watch the film myself. Love O Love has a title that suits today’s generation. I request everyone to watch it in theatres and share your honest reviews.”
