Kushi Ravi plays the female lead. Producer Satheesh and actress Kausalya appear in important roles, while Mime Gopi, Y.G. Mahendran and several leading actors play key characters.
The film’s music is composed by A.K. Priyan, cinematography is by K. Ravi Varma, editing is by Deepak S. Dwaraknath, and art direction is by Bhakyaraj Vellayan.
Based on a true incident, the film is set to release in theatres on April 10. It will be distributed across Tamil Nadu by Sakthi Film Factory, led by P. Sakthivelan, who has released several quality and successful films.
The audio launch event of the film took place yesterday evening at Prasad Lab in Chennai, where many film personalities attended and extended their wishes to the team.
Selvaraghavan’s Speech
“First, I must speak about Sakthi Film Factory. I have always followed their films. They select projects carefully, but whatever they take up, they present it on a grand scale with quality. I am very happy to be part of a film under their banner. Thank you, sir.
When I agreed to act in this film and went to the shooting spot, one thing surprised me greatly. Everyone kept working continuously without rest. There was an intense level of energy on the set. At times, I even wondered when they ate or rested. Director Dennis has made this film with complete dedication. I strongly believe that such extraordinary hard work will definitely yield good results.
Regarding the producer, I didn’t know him personally at first. But later, I realized the immense support he provided for this film. He gave us complete backing and helped execute this project successfully. My sincere thanks to him.
About the music — after hearing just a few lines, I immediately asked, ‘Who is this composer?’ The music is that melodious and high in quality. My appreciation to him. Likewise, all the technicians have contributed excellently. My thanks to everyone.
Kausalya ma’am is even more calm and gentle in person than how she appears on screen. It was a great experience working with her. In contrast, Kushi has a vibrant positive energy — wherever she is, that place becomes lively. Always smiling is a great blessing, and that energy spreads to everyone, which will also be visible in this film.
Overall, this is a wonderful team. I wholeheartedly wish that this group achieves greater heights. Thank you.”
Producer & Actor Satheesh’s Speech
“Greetings to all members of the press, media, and social media.
I had planned to speak about many things, but the song played earlier made me emotional. Whenever I hear that song, it reminds me of my mother. Today, she is no longer with me. Since my childhood, her dream was to see me on screen. That was a long-standing dream.
I too had a desire to achieve something in cinema. But due to responsibilities, I was in a corporate career. Still, that passion remained within me. As many say, what you truly think about in your heart will one day come true. That is what happened to me.
At one point, I decided to pursue this as a full-time journey.
I recall something Superstar Rajinikanth once said in an interview — if you truly desire something, and when the right time and the right people come together, and if you work hard, you can definitely achieve it. That statement has become true in my life.
Director Dennis Manjunath is like a brother to me. We have been traveling together for 15 years. Through him, I got acquainted with Deepak, Ravi, and Siddu. Our early experiences working together in short films have led us to this stage.
Actor Sasikumar gave me my first opportunity in cinema through a small role in the film ‘Kidari’. I will always remain grateful for that opportunity.
This film’s story was developed two years ago. It is based on a true incident. During our research, we found that similar incidents had occurred in many places, which surprised us. Therefore, we decided to handle this story responsibly and present it properly.
At that point, we decided to approach Selvaraghavan sir. We had decided that we would make this film only if he agreed. His single word ‘yes’ gave life to this film. We are deeply thankful to him.
After he joined, we felt a greater responsibility to improve the film’s quality. We approached everything with care and seriousness. We shot in real locations like Salem and made strong technical efforts.
Kushi Ravi’s performance is highly commendable. She has acted with great emotion despite the language barrier. She has a bright future in Tamil cinema.
Kausalya ma’am completely transformed herself for this role, appearing in a de-glam look and bringing authenticity to the character.
Mime Gopi sir needs no introduction — his performance perfectly suits the role. It’s hard to imagine anyone else in that role.
Senior artists like Y.G. Mahendran working with this young team is a matter of pride.
Every day working with Selvaraghavan sir was a learning experience. His experience elevated the film’s quality.
This is a film based on real incidents. It portrays village life, human relationships, and emotions in a realistic manner. The cinematography, editing, and background score have enhanced the story.
This is a film that can be watched with family. I request everyone to come to theatres with your families and support it.
Finally, my thanks to all producers, technicians, and friends who were part of this journey. If I missed mentioning anyone, please forgive me. My heartfelt wishes to everyone who worked on this film.”
Kausalya’s Speech
“My greetings to all the respected guests and media friends present here.
I am very happy and proud to speak on this stage.
First, my heartfelt thanks to director Dennis for giving me such a strong and beautiful role. I joined this project believing in its emotional depth.
My thanks to producers Satheesh and Vijaya. Their planning, discipline, and dedication made it possible to complete this film successfully. If more producers like them exist, Tamil cinema will reach greater heights.
Acting alongside Selvaraghavan was not easy, but his support made everything comfortable.
Kushi came from Bengaluru and worked with complete dedication — that is commendable.
Presenting something simple beautifully is the real challenge, and cinematographer Ravi Varma has done that brilliantly.
I met music composer A.K. Priyan only today. Though this is his first film, the songs are outstanding. After a long time, I danced for his music.
This film releases on April 10. It is a family entertainer. Please watch and support it.”
Kushi Ravi’s Speech
“Greetings to everyone present here.
This is my first Tamil film, and I am very happy about it. I hope everyone will like and appreciate it.
Thanks to Selvaraghavan sir, director Dennis, and the producers.
Thanks to all the actors and technicians.
Special wishes to music composer Priyan — the music is excellent.
Finally, I request everyone to watch this film in theatres and support it.”
