“A Padam” releasing on February 27
The first look of the film A Padam was unveiled by Thol. Thirumavalavan.
Produced by Rajaganapathi under the banner of Mangkadu Amman Movies, A Padam is directed by Cashless Shivago, with music composed by Jose Franklin and cinematography by Satheesh.
The film strongly highlights the theme of an agricultural revolution and focuses on how corporate entities deceive and exploit farmers.
Rajaganapathi plays the lead role in the film, while Megha Sri appears as the female lead. The film also features Chandrabose, director Cashless Shivago, Mascara Asmitha, and Sushmitha in important roles.
The shooting of the film has been completed in Chennai, Yelagiri, and Yercaud.
Speaking about the film, producer Rajaganapathi said:
“We made the film beautifully, but when we approached for the censor certificate, we faced severe difficulties. More than 45 scenes were cut. Because of this, we struggled for nearly 18 months, going back and forth to court before finally obtaining the censor certificate.
Now, the film is finally releasing on February 27.
I have portrayed the role of Ambedkar in this film. It was a proud and happy moment for me to speak and perform as Ambedkar, addressing the injustices prevailing in society.
We are also very happy that the first look of our film was released by Viduthalai Chiruthaigal leader Thol. Thirumavalavan. We sincerely request everyone to watch our good film in theatres and support us.”
If you would like, I can also format this as a press release version suitable for media circulation.
