‘Heartley Battery’ is the story of Sophia, a brilliant science enthusiast who always believes that love is nothing but a combination of biology and chemistry. After witnessing the failed relationships of many, including her parents, she decides to eliminate the confusion surrounding love. At the age of 16, she begins to dream of creating a device that can scientifically measure the authenticity of love.
At 24, she makes that dream a reality—but then she meets Sid, a comic writer, who thinks Sophia’s invention is completely meaningless. This is a sweet and engaging journey that asks whether science can understand the heart, and whether science can translate the language of love. Actor Guru Lakshman said,
