Even though they are conjoined twins, their fingerprints are different. If that is the case, the same fingerprint belongs to four people. Suspecting that it is unlikely, the hero Bala Hasan, a police sub-inspector, investigates the fingerprint. The information comes that all four people involved are dead. Although the medical report states that the four died in an unexpected accident, Bala Hasan realizes that there is some mystery behind it and takes up the investigation seriously, and the truth comes out that all four people were murdered.

Who are these four people who were murdered without any clues, especially in a way that leaves no doubt even during the post-mortem examination? Who killed them? Why? How are their fingerprints the same? ‘Rekai’ answers these questions with a thrilling screenplay and shocking background. Bala Haasan, who attracted attention by playing the role of a police constable in the film ‘Viduthulai’, has played the role of a sub-inspector as the hero of the story and has done justice to her character with all the qualities required for an investigative officer, such as measured acting, sharp vision, majestic body language, and clear efficiency.

Pavithra Janani, who plays the role of a police constable, has done her job flawlessly. The love between her and Bala seems forced, and it is a pity that it does not add strength to the screenplay.

Vinodini plays a very important role and attracts attention. Although many unfamiliar faces have appeared in the series, they have all come together to bring the scenes and the screenplay to life. Music composer R.S. Raj Pratap’s background music has added extra strength to the investigative and shocking scenes.

Cinematographer Mahendra M. Hendry has shown the scenes from different angles, making the audience forget about being a lawnmower and become one with the series.

Editor Durai Prakash has put many mysterious knots in each episode and edited the scenes in a way that makes you watch the next episode with anticipation.

M. Dinakaran, who has written and directed this series based on the novel by famous writer Rajesh Kumar, has given the audience a new investigative thriller experience with unexpected twists and shocking incidents.

Even if you watch all 6 episodes together, you won’t notice that time has passed. In each episode, there is an incident, a mysterious knot that is tied through it, and the investigation of the hero who unties that knot. Director M. Dinakaran keeps the series moving along so excitingly. The way he has designed the scenes by combining the murder incidents with science is especially special.

Although it is a crime thriller series with serial murders and investigations, director M. Dinakaran has avoided excessive bloodshed and has presented a series that can be watched by all parties together. He has achieved great success in captivating the audience by combining different incidents into one series.
