The hero of the story, Parotta Murugesan, prays to the guardian deity Ondimuni to sacrifice a goat for his son. In order to fulfill his wish, he buys and raises a goat cub. When the goat and his son grow up, he does not get the opportunity to offer the goat to Ondimuni. The reason is that two Pannadis in the village are not coming to the temple function due to a conflict between them.
Parotta Murugesan makes various efforts to pacify both of them and make them participate in the temple function. Meanwhile, Parotta Murugesan’s daughter Chithra is thrown out of her mother-in-law’s house because she does not wear the jewelry she promised. On the other hand, his son decides to sell the goat to buy a motorcycle for his love.
Amidst all these problems, did Parotta Murugesan sacrifice his goat to the guardian deity who fulfilled his wish? Or not? , is what is told as the life story of a land in ‘Ondimuniyum Nallapadanum’.
Parotta Murugesan, who plays the role of Nallapadan, has realistically played the role of a poor farmer. He has walked through the forests and hills without even wearing sandals and has brought his character to life by acting with passion and hard work. This film will definitely bring Parotta Murugesan, who has played small roles in many films, great recognition and many awards.
Both Karthikesan, who has played a big role in the film, and Murugan, who has played a small role in the film, have been amazing in their performances and have revealed the mentality of their characters through their performances.
Vijayan, who plays the son of Parotta Murugesan, Chithra Natarajan, who plays the daughter, Vijay Senadhipathi, who plays the groom, Siruvan, and Vikatan, who play the grandson, are all suitable choices for the roles.
Although there are no songs, music composer Natarajan Sankaran has distinguished himself through the background music.
Cinematographer Vimal has placed the story, the characters, and their lives before our eyes through his camera.
Editor Satish Kurosawa has edited the scenes to add more interest to the director’s screenplay, which tells an interesting story even though it is an ordinary story.
Written and directed by Sugavanam, he has not only turned an ordinary story into an interesting film through the screenplay, but also brought the life of a land into a special work.
Director Sugavanam, who has been praised throughout the film for his handling of the plot and characters, surprised us with an unexpected climax.
