The king of a neighboring country tries to capture the Gandhara forest, which is rich in herbs and valuable products. When he fails in this, his next generation continues to die trying to do so.
Meanwhile, Rishabh Shetty, a member of the Gandhara tribe, leaves the forest and tries to sell the products they have, and aggressively breaks the restrictions imposed on the common people and takes control of the port. Unable to resist the people of Gandhara, King Jayaram, who is unable to resist, talks to them in a conciliatory manner, announces that he will give them all the respect they deserve, and controls their powers and plots to capture Gandhara. Did his plot succeed? Did the hero Rishabh Shetty save Gandhara and its people? ‘Kandhara’ is a very loud word.
Rishabh Shetty, who plays the lead role, has perfectly suited the role of a tribal. He has made a name for himself in the scenes where he shouts “Oh…oh….” and is very impressive, and he has acted with aggression and anger in his body language and eyes.
Rukmani Vasanth, who plays the lead role, is beautiful. Initially calm, she suddenly takes on a threatening form.
Jayaram, who plays the king, and Gulshan Devaiah, who plays his son, are apt choices for the role.
Music composer P. Ajanees Loknath has added great strength to the film. The songs and background music in his music have brought the scenes to life. Especially the background music has saved the film.
Cinematographer Aravind K. Kashyap has shot the scenes magnificently. Although there are many graphic scenes, they have been displayed neatly in accordance with the storyline.
Editor Suresh could have reduced not only the length of the scenes but also the scenes themselves.
Rishabh Shetty, who plays the hero, has written and directed it. The emotional story that was present in his film Gandhara is missing in this Gandhara. The king who is trying to conquer the forest and the tribal people who are fighting against him have tried to give a grand picture through graphic scenes by combining the war between them with spirituality.
Although the film is grand through graphic scenes and the action scenes make the film enjoyable, the uninteresting screenplay and old-fashioned scenes weaken the film. Especially the length of the film makes the audience tired.
