When Kavin, a love-averse hero, watches couples kiss, he gains the power to know what is going to happen to them in the future. Thus, when he sees the lovers kissing, he knows their future and takes action to separate them.
Meanwhile, Kavin, who is friendly with the heroine Preethi Asrani, falls in love with her. Preethi also falls in love with Kavin. While both of them do not confess their love, Preethi suddenly kisses Kavin. Knowing what is going to happen in the future, Kavin starts rejecting him. What happened after that? , Did the two get together? , What is the background of this strange power of Kavin? ‘Kiss’ is an attempt to convey this with colorful love.
Kavin has acted well in the scenes where he hates love and acts against his lovers and then melts for the same love. Whether it is separating lovers or yearning for love, he has tried to show difference in his acting by adding various expressions, and he has succeeded in doing so.
Preethi Asrani, who plays the heroine, is full of youthfulness. She has succeeded in turning the audience’s attention to her by acting well in a role that has potential for acting.
RJ Vijay, who plays the hero’s friend, and VTV Ganesh, who plays his father, keep the comedy area under their control and keep the audience laughing. Although their timing is not good at some places, they have played an important role in holding the second half of the film.
Rao Ramesh, who plays the hero’s father, has acted appropriately for his character. Devayani, who plays the hero’s mother, comes and goes in an inappropriate outfit and look. The screen presence of Prabhu and Kausalya, who make special appearances, has added strength to the screenplay.
Harish Kannan’s cinematography has shot the scenes colorfully and has also shot them in a way that reflects the youth of the characters.
Although the songs and background music in the music of Jen Martin do not receive special attention, they have traveled without detracting from the screenplay and scenes.
Although the film editor R.C. Pranav, who did not know how to handle the different storyline in the first half, struggled in the first half, he edited the audience’s favorite in the second half and made the film enjoyable.
Choreographer Sathish Krishnan, who is making his debut as a director, has waged a great love war with a kiss in an attempt to present it as a film for the youth.
We have already seen in some films where the hero who doesn’t like love does the job of separating lovers, so although the first half of the film moves a bit sluggishly, the transformation that happens to the hero when he falls in love, and the laughter that comes with the comedy of the events that occur as they are narrated, make us forget about the boredom and enjoy the film.
