Nayagan Udhaya, a convict in the MLA murder case, is taken from Puzhal jail to Salem court to appear in court for trial. Constable Ajmal joins the group of policemen who take him. The policemen, who are travelling in a police vehicle, have to take a government transport bus due to some problems. Meanwhile, a gang from another state is chasing the prisoner Udaya to kill him, and the police sub-inspector is planning to kill him, and if police constable Ajmal is the obstacle, he decides to kill him too.
Who is Udaya, the culprit in the murder case? What is his background? Who is the gang chasing Udaya to kill him? Why is the police who are supposed to protect him planning to kill him? Did policeman Ajmal save Udaya from them and present him in court? Or not? ‘Acoust’ is a commercial that tells this.
Despite playing a rowdy character, Udaya, who has excelled in romantic and comedy scenes, fits perfectly in his role as Kanaka and wins the appreciation of the audience with his balanced acting. If he chooses good stories and acts, Udaya is sure to make it to the list of indispensable actors of Tamil cinema.

Ajmal, who plays a police constable, has acted as a simple policeman, but he has acted as a smart and bold man, like the strength of the police and the power of their guns. The scenes where he talks to his future wife on the phone, both timidly and affectionately, are also special.
Janhvika Kalakeri, who plays the heroine, is simple but has excelled in her acting and dancing. Another heroine, Chandika, who plays love on the cell phone opposite Ajmal, is also no slouch in her performance.
Yogi Babu’s character not only makes you laugh, but also goes along with the screenplay and adds strength to the film.
Pawan, who plays the MLA, Subhadra, who plays his wife, Sridhar, who plays the MLA’s younger brother, Daya Panneerselvam, director Prabhu Srinivas, Deepa Bhaskar, who plays the hero’s sister, and D. Siva, who plays the politician, are all suitable choices for the characters.
Cinematographer Marudhanayakam.I has beautifully depicted the action scenes and chasing scenes.
Naren Balakumar’s music, songs, and background music are in keeping with the story.
Editor K.L. Pravin, although it is a typical commercial action film, has tried to tell it interestingly through his editing.
Prabhu Srinivas, who has written and directed the film, has tried to tell a commercial action story with many twists and turns. The director, who moves the film at a fast and furious pace, has set the screenplay according to the audience’s guesses, which makes the film sluggish.
The background to the MLA’s murder and the background of the hero involved in it are different, and although the scenes in the film give the impression of watching an old film, Udaya’s performance and hard work make us forget that feeling and make us enjoy the film a little.
