Lovlyn Chandrasekhar, who leaves home after a fight with her mother, meets Yogi Babu, the ticket inspector, while traveling in a train. Yogi Babu, who understands Lovelyn’s situation, tells her four stories to make her realize how important a mother is. The only thing that these four stories have in common is the relationship between ‘mother’.

‘The World That Changes Colour’ is a story of four different types of stories: a father who yearns for his mother’s affection, a mother who dies of hunger in the last days despite raising her children well, a son who is unable to save his mother who is suffering from a health condition, and a helpless young man who is ready to sacrifice anything for the sake of his relationship with his mother.

Natty, Rio Raj, Bharathiraja – Vadivukkarasi, and Sandy, who play the main characters in the four stories, have all done their job flawlessly. Tulasi, Yogi Babu, Aadhirai, Kanika, Loveline Chandrasekhar, Rishikant, Egan, Vigneshkanth, Kavia Arivumani, Aira Krishnan, Mullai Arasi, Mike Gopi, Viji Chandrasekhar, Aadukalam Naren, Suresh Menon, and Suresh Chakravarthy, who are acting alongside them, are all suitable choices for the roles.

Cinematographers Mallika Arjunan and Manikanda Raju have done a great job.

The songs are a hit with music by composer Dev Prakash Regan. The background music is also okay.

Editor Tamil Arasan has not done anything unique except to present the four stories presented by the director one by one.

Written and directed by Britto JP, it is not wrong to tell all four stories with sentimentality, but I could not bear the fact that too much sadness has been squeezed into all four stories. Moreover, the film keeps running with a flashback within each story.
