dheeran the hero who runs a bar, and Reshma Venkatesh, the heroine who is campaigning for the closure of bars, often clash, which eventually turns into love. In the meantime, there is a frequent conflict between the hero side and the villain side in bidding for a liquor bar which is considered respectable, and ‘Chala’ is not only a lesson to be learned from the consequences of that conflict and the dangers of alcoholism, but also a commercial movie fans are told to celebrate.

Deeran, who has acted in small roles in some films, has made his debut as a hero in this film. Despite being ruggedly built at six feet tall, he does justice to his character with his childish performance, and excels in dance and stunts. Dheeran has all the qualities of an action hero, if only he takes a little practice in acting, he can continue to be a hero in Kollywood.

Reshma Venkatesh, who plays the heroine, has played a revolutionary role and has played it with understanding. Even though there are no romantic scenes, just like the hero’s heart, he also has a place in the fans’ hearts due to his fighting spirit.

Charles Vinod who plays the villain has done justice to the character with a typical performance. The lines spoken by Srinath who comes as the hero’s friend are laughable. Aruldas, Sampath Ram, Yogram and the three actors who play school students have done their job well.

Theesan’s music has songs that are commercial and the background music has flown along with the story. Cinematographer Rabindranath Guru’s body of work. Film editor Bhuvan, though a masala film, has elegantly edited the scenes in such a way as to bring the things that the director wanted to convey to the minds of the people.

Although it is a commercial film that revolves entirely around the hero, director S. D. Manipal has told people to enjoy the good things in it. He has also told us to think about how people are being degraded by alcohol in the current era, not only as a joke.

Director Manipal has joked about how people become addicted to alcohol, and what happens next with the plight of three school students and the video evidence they create? He moves the screenplay interestingly with the expectation.

Although it travels as a regular commercial film, the director who shakes the entire theater by shooting an accident scene at the end makes the drunk drivers think for a moment through the accident scene which is shot very realistically.

Despite being an anti-alcohol propaganda film, director S.D.Manipal, who has dealt with all the commercial aspects including comedy, action, love and unexpected twists, has successfully directed a film for society with a debutant hero.
