Thalaimai Seyalagam Movie Review
He who told the life of marginalized people in films like ‘Veil’ and ‘Angadi Teru’, in this general secretariat thriller, he is amazing in the political field.

Kishore, Shreya Reddy, Santana Bharati, Y.G. Mahendran, Vipin, Ramya Nambisan in lead roles in this serial produced by Radhika Sarathkumar. Gibran has composed the music for this series which is released on Z 5 Original ODD platform.

Kishore, who is the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, is facing a prison sentence in a corruption case. Kishore’s daughter Ramya Nambeesan, son-in-law and adviser Shreya Reddy are vying for the post of chief minister after he goes to jail. On one hand Ramya tries to save her father from punishment. CBI officers go to Jharkhand and Delhi in search of a woman accused of murder named Durga. Bharat is also investigating the same case in Tamil Nadu. A story that travels across two platforms travels together at one point.

In the very first scene, when a woman in Jharkhand cuts down the men who harass her, we understand that this is not a typical Vasantha Balan film. The eight-episode series keeps the eye moving from the first episode to the last. This kind of political thriller is a new experience.

How does Kishore, who often plays a villain, play a mature CM? We are amazed and appreciated! As a senior politician and a family man, he shows subtle emotions and makes Sabash Kishore say.

Who else but Shreya Reddy could have played the character of Kotavai so well? It is doubtful. Shreya has lived a live character mixed with aggression and love.

So far we have seen Santhanabharathi in a ‘guest’ role. But it can be said that he has shown his full acting skills in this series. He perfectly portrays the role of an elder statesman. Ramya Nambeesan, Aditya Menon, YG Mahendran have all done their best.
