Hero Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna and ‘Husharu’ fame Sri Harsha Konuganti are going to entertain the audience with the out and out-entertainer ‘Om Bheem Bush’. V Celluloid and Sunil Balusu are producing the film while UV Creations is presenting it. The promotional content that has already been released has received tremendous response. ‘Om Bheem Bush’ is going to have a grand release worldwide on March 22. In this context, hero Sree Vishnu shared the highlights of the film in a press conference.
‘Om Bheem Bush’ Title, Teaser, and Trailer got good response. How did it feel to get such a good response to every promotional content?
Very happy. A lot of new points and ideas have been mentioned in this. A point that no one has touched till now. Many times when we find a new point we stick to the same genre. So instead of being limited to a single genre, we presented it differently and made it a complete entertainer. Everyone will be entertained for sure. The audience is sure to be entertained when the new point is revealed. Irrespective of the situation of our characters in the story, the audience watching the movie will enjoy it hilariously.
Did you fix the title of ‘Om Bheem Bush’ when you thought of this story?
We thought of two or three titles. One of them comes in English. But I am in favor of ‘Om Bheem Bush’. It is a very catchy title. The mantra we used to do magic when we were kids (laughs). Producer Vamsi saw the first cut and said let’s fix the name ‘Om Bheem Bush’. So we made the final ‘Om Bheem Bush’. It was a pleasure to get such a good response to the title. I pay special attention to titles. Titles take the film to the audience first.
Although there is a new point in the story for such concept films, the acting and dialogues are likely to end up like a regular film.. How will that originality be in ‘Om Bheem Bush’?
In terms of point, no point like ‘Om Bheem Bush’ has came out till now. It has all the elements of mystery, thrill, etc. The audience will know how all this will work out. But the entertainment is perfect. Anything else is hopefully a bonus. The audience will also say that there is something else besides entertainment. What it is will be known after the release of the film.
Samajavaragamana has become a unanimous blockbuster. Are you trying to protect and increase the market after that movie?
I never plan that. If we focus on market, we will concentrate only on it. I always make sure that the producer’s investment in me is not wasted.
Will ‘Om Bheem Bush’ live up to the expectations set by Samajvaragamana?
The return of three or four times the investment made on ‘Om Bheem Bush’ till this film has given me great satisfaction. The success of Samajvaragamana, ‘Om Bheem Bush’ teaser, trailer and UV banner helped it. They take care in all aspects of making films. It also reduces the pressure on me.
After ‘Brochevarevarura’, you, Darshi, Rahul came together once again. Isn’t there any pressure to choose a unique story in comedy?
Actually we didn’t take that much pressure. As the three of us met regularly, it didn’t seem like a big change. We have made this movie in a fun way, so that three friends can talk, so naturally. The one-liners are hilarious.
We heard that there will be hilarious blocks in the second half?
Three blocks in the first half and two blocks in the second half will be a hilarious blast in terms of entertainment. The audience will enjoy it hilariously. If you see it as a group of friends, it will be even more exciting.
How are your three characters going to be in the story?
We do PhD to become scientists. They make a sketch to send us out of the college anyway. Then we will come to Bhairavapuram. The situations and characters encountered in that village are hilarious. Just like when we were in college, we used to be like kings, here too we will become like kings. They are characters who live like a king anywhere. In this sequence comes the task of catching the treasure. Whether there is real treasure or not, how our efforts were done is the rest of the story. This is a very fun and hilarious movie.
What kind of innovation has the director Sriharsha brought through this story?
I thought it would be better if the story told by Sriharsha was a little more colorful. Raj Thota D.O.P worked six times with me. There is good sync for both of them too. Also the music is Sunny MR. I like his music very much. An amazing production house. With a good team, I believe that the film will be technically good. Srikanth is the art director. He did very well. He will be a great technician. With the arrival of such a good team, the vision of the director is also clear.
The director said that there are many heroines. Only one heroine is seen in the trailer. Did you hide the others?
We did not hide. Priya Vadlamani will appear in a song. Ayesha Khan appeared in the trailer. In fact, we three (Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, and Rahul Ramakrishna( will appear everywhere. Other characters are limited and simple. In terms of this story, the heroine has priority.
How did it feel to work with Darshi and Rahul again?
We are good friends. The shooting of this film was done in Pune. We arranged accommodation in a farm near the location. We have been there for about fifteen days. We enjoyed shooting this movie a lot.
Are you planning paid premieres for this movie like ‘Samajavaragamana’?
As there is time, there is an idea to make premieres.
New projects?
‘Swag’ is almost done. Along with this, I am doing a thriller movie. Also, I am doing a film in Geetha Arts and a film with Kona Venkat.
