The trailer of his upcoming film ‘Mission Chapter 1 (Achcham Enbadhu Illayae) has exhibited his prowess to a greater magnitude. This film, directed by Vijay and produced by Lyca Productions Subaskaran, Shri Shirdi Sai Movies M.Rajasekar is all set for the worldwide theatrical release on January 12, 2024.
Actor Arun Vijay says, “The action in this film is going to be far from what I have already done in my previous movies. Mission Chapter 1 is a captivating tale filled with emotions. The theatrical experience it offers will be exceptional, providing audiences with numerous twists, turns, and surprising elements that heighten their excitement.” Having said that the action sequences in this movie is quite different from what he has done in his previous, the actor continues to add, “Yes, we haven’t included any action blocks for namesake, but it will remain inclined to the screenplay. In particular, there is an action block shot at a running bus in London, where I got my ligament tear. It wasn’t just about locking horns with others, but I had to perform lots of stunts. What’s so special about the film is that the action blocks get bigger with the progression of screenplay. I am so glad that I got a platform where I could unleash my best potentials in action.”
Filmmaker Vijay is famous for his heart-warming love stories and emotional family dramas. Actor Arun Vijay recalls a moment stating, “Both of us have been conversing a lot about some projects, and initially, he narrated a love story of his signature style. A week later, he came back surprising me with an action-packed emotional entertainer. He told me that let us work together in a film that will cater to the interests of the current mindset of audiences, who come to the theaters. Mission Chapter 1 is a package of action, emotions, and sentiments, and director Vijay has created heart-touching moments in the film. Especially, the emotional bond between my character and daughter Iyal will moisten the eyes of audience.
Amy Jackson, Nimisha Sajayan, Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopanna, Baby Iyal, Viraaj S, Jason Shah, and others are a part of this star cast. G.V. Prakash Kumar is composing the music, and Sandeep K Vijay is handling the cinematography.
