Bubbly beauty Hansika’s female-oriented film ‘My Name Is Shruthi’ was released in theatres last Friday. Directed by Srinivas Omkar, the film is produced by Burugu Ramya Prabhakar of Vaishnavi Arts banner. The movie, which is set in the backdrop of skin mafia, has met with good success. To celebrate the film’s success, the makers today organized a success meet in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, the producer said, “So far, no film has come out with a backdrop of this sort. I would like to thank the audience and the media for supporting our movie whose plot is centered on the skin mafia. Collections have been on the rise, day by day. Hansika garu has been very supportive. She participated in the publicity campaign despite her health issues. I thank her on this occasion. I am a new producer and thank you so much to all the team for supporting me not only during the production of the film but also after the release. ‘My Name is Shruthi’ has a good message. Director Srinivas Omkar said that, before the release of the film, a show was screened for the media. “The media brothers gave good feedback after the show. I noticed the same feedback the next day after the release of the movie. Trusting a new director is not a small thing. A new producer has been trusted. A good producer has been introduced to the industry with this movie. I made a promise to Hansika while narrating the story of this film. I told her that this movie would be in her best 10 movies. Looking at the reviews and ratings of this movie today, I think I have kept my promise. This is a must-watch movie for parents and children,” he added.
Heroine Hansika said, “Thank you to the audience who made this movie such a big success and to the media who have been supporting it since the beginning. I know how hard the producer and director have worked on this movie. It is a genuine female-centric film. The talk and ratings coming for this movie made me forget all the hard work I had to put in.
