In this society which divides caste based on occupation, what kind of sufferings some particular community has to face due to living with that caste, what should be done if they want to get rid of it? The story of the movie ‘Tamilkudimagan’ is to tell the solution.

Nayakan Cheran, who belongs to a family engaged in the business of laundry and burying bodies in the cemetery, decides that he does not need such a business as the people of the village look down on that business and those who do it, so he embarks on another business. But, no matter what level it goes to, no matter how it changes, the people of the village continue to trouble Cheran with the mentality that he has to do this business tomorrow. Cheran travels with the fighting spirit of overcoming them and changing his position.

Meanwhile the elder of the village dies and Cheran is called to bury his body. He denies that I am not going to do that job anymore. The dominant castes who cannot tolerate Cheran running against them try to kill him. Then the law intervenes in the matter and the matter goes to court. After listening to the arguments of both sides, the court gave a solution to the problem of Cheran and to change the situation of the people who are suffering due to caste discrimination and that is ‘Tamilkudiman’.

Cheran’s sinuous face as the hero suits the character and his matured performance adds strength to the character. But it’s the fact that he looks the same in all the scenes that makes fans sad. Moreover, I don’t know why he expresses his anger so calmly and respectfully.

Lal, who plays a caste member, attracts attention with his seasoned performance. He has added the depth of the question that he asks, “If the police is for them and the law is for them, who are we” through his acting.

Sri Priyanka who plays Cheran’s wife, Deepiksha who plays his younger sister, Vela Ramamurthy, Aruldas, S.A. Chandrasekhar, Ravi Maria, Dhruva, Suresh Kamatshi, M. Ramasamy, Mylaswamy are all suitable choices for the role.

Cinematographer Rajesh Yadav’s camera has conveyed not only the visuals but also the human emotions to the audience.

In Sam CS music, the songs and background music travel with the story.

Since the dialogues spoken by the characters are more than the scenes in the film, Sudarshan has edited everything neatly and without changing the direction of the story.

Director Isaki Karvannan, who has designed and directed the film’s screenplay and visuals to tell the problems and pains faced by the caste community rather than saying that it is a film in support of the Scheduled Caste community, says that if this situation is to change, caste should be eradicated altogether. How can that be? Answering the question, he has emphatically recorded that this can only be done if the government thinks so.

Although many people have already expressed this opinion in various ways, in this, the director Isaki Karvannan has talked about things like the inheritance of the rulers, the giving of land to the Scheduled Tribes, and the laying of soru, and he has responded to those talks with historical records.

Director Isaki Karvannan, who has talked about caste, clan family and sub-divisions in the caste in detail in the court scene, has written the script in such a way that the reservation is not only for the scheduled people, it is for all the castes, but only they get the reservation. At the same time, he has said that this is a supportive film for both sides by showing those who are called dominant castes very respectfully and heroically.

”Am I big?, Are you big? Director Isaki Karvannan, who avoids unnecessary controversies like talking about race or caste political parties, has strongly recorded the opinion that a person should not be looked down on because of his caste or because of his profession, such a situation is still happening in some place and that situation must change.
