Devastated by the death of her brother, the only relationship she could call her own, heroine Elwyn Juliet attempts suicide. On the other hand, the protagonist Yunus decides to take his own life to save his mother who is fighting for her life due to her physical condition. These strangers are suddenly kidnapped and locked up in one place. A voice at the scene says, “Your body has been poisoned and if you don’t escape within the given time, you will die.” Accordingly, with both succeeding in their attempts to escape, there are two options in the finale. In one, it is written that there is a medicine that saves both lives, and in the other, there is medicine and mystery. Deciding to find out the background of this mystery along with the cure, the two work towards it. What is that mystery?, Did they both know? Who is doing this and why? Saying that is ‘Aima’.

‘Aima’ means blood in Greek. They keep this title because the film’s screenplay is based on blood.

Debutant Younus, who is playing the lead role, not only looks like Thalapathy Vijay but his every movement and dialogue is like Vijay’s xerox. Younus, who has done the given role flawlessly, will do well for his future career if he tries to remove Vijay from his role and try to act in his own style.

Debutant Elvin Juliet, who is playing the lead role, is amazing in a role that adds strength to the story rather than a regular lead.

The film’s producer Shanmugam Ramasamy, who is playing the villain, has acted very clearly unlike the newcomer. Shanmugam Ramasamy, who has proved that you don’t need an intimidating figure to be a scary villain, eyes are enough, has been intimidating in many scenes with his dashing performance and aggressive eyes. Shanmugam Ramasamy, whose performance reminds me of Bahad Basil throughout the film, is sure to become an indispensable actor in Tamil cinema if he gets good roles.

Although the actor who plays the heroine’s brother and the actress who plays the hero’s mother appear in a few scenes, their appearances add strength to the screenplay.

Cinematographer Vishnu Kannan has showcased the scenes magnificently. Despite being a small budget film, no compromise has been made in the quality of the scenes.

Although the small songs featured throughout the film in the music of KR Rahul seem to have been heard somewhere, the background music is new and has traveled to increase the vibrancy of the film.

Although there are only two or three characters in most of the scenes of the film, the film editor Arun Raghav has edited the scenes very neatly so that the film moves smoothly.

Director Rahul R. Krishna, who has created a very interesting screenplay with blood as the plot, has given a very interesting film with complete newcomers.

The director makes us travel with the story in the scene where the hero is abducted and tied hand and foot in a room, what happens next from there? He makes the film travel with the expectation. Will the hero and heroine escape? The one who brings the fans to the edge of their seats with the question, makes them enjoy the romance that blossoms between them in a dangerous situation and the reason for it beautifully.

A red carpet welcome to director Rahul R.Krishna who has mastered the art of keeping the audience hooked for two hours with a small budget and limited cast, with unpredictable twists and turns.
