‘Odela RailwayStation’, directed by Ashok Teja, has been a phenomenal success on Aha Video. The OTT release trended big-time on the streaming platform, winning the applause of its audience. The talented Ashok Teja is now going to do a big-range action thriller.
The film stars Catherine Tresa and ‘George Reddy’ and ‘Vangaveeti’ fame Sandeep Madhav in lead roles. Its launch event on Thursday was hosted by KCR Films and Sri Mahavishnu Movies’s Davuluri Jagadish and Palli Keshavrao.
The event saw the presence of director Sampath Nandi, who gave a clap for the first scene shot on the lead pair. Famous producer C Kalyan switched on the camera. The first shot was directed by Prasanna Kumar and Gemini Kiran.
Later, speaking to the media, director Ashok Teja said that the producers of the action thriller gave him the opportunity because they were thoroughly impressed by ‘Odela RailwayStation’. Catherine and Sandeep evinced great interest in the movie after listening to the script, he added. “I am confident that this movie will be ten times more amazing than ‘Odela RailwayStation’,” the director added.
On her part, actress Catherine said that she fell in love with the story instantly. “This is a screenplay-based movie and a brand new action thriller. The film will give a new experience to the audience,” she added.
Hero Sandeep said that this is the best story he listened to after ‘George Reddy’. “Every scene is very interesting. No one can imagine the twists that the script is laced with. I have been waiting for a good story to act as a police officer for a long time. This offer came as the answer. The heroine’s character is quite unpredictable. A very talented team is on board,” he added.
Presenter Soma Vijayaprakash said, “This is a first-of-its-kind suspense thriller with unpredictable and smart twists. The screenplay is beyond your imagination. We are making this film on a huge budget without compromising on quality anywhere.”
Producer Palli Keshavrao is happy to be back after a break. “We are making a film with a good team. The shooting schedules will be non-stop,” he added.
