The hero, Nishant Rusho, who is on the police station’s criminal list for petty thefts and beatings, goes with police sub-inspector Godangi Vadivel to guide him to the pepper forest where a young man is found murdered. Then the sub-inspector puts the animal along with Nishant’s hand and the corpse’s hand and goes to talk on the phone.
The young man, who at that time thought he was dead, suddenly remembers. Nishant is scared as he doesn’t know what to do. Then the woman on the young man’s mobile phone says that it is her husband and that she will give him ten lakh rupees if he can be saved.
Nishant, who decides to save the young man for money, starts traveling with the young man in the jungle, on one side being chased by a mob that tries to kill him. The police are chasing the other side. Did Nishant save him in the end? Isn’t it? Who is trying to kill him? why This is the rest of the story of the movie ‘Parundhakum Ur Kuruvi’ in the survival suspense thriller genre.
The hero Nishant Rousseau, who has acted very naturally without any hitch despite being his first film, has done justice to his character with a dashing performance.
Who is trying to kill him? Vivek Prasanna, who travels with the fear of life without knowing, as usual has acted in such a way as to add strength to his character.
Gayatri Iyer, who plays the heroine, has flawlessly played the powerful role.
Vinod Sagar, who plays the role of police inspector, and Kodangi Vadivelu, who plays the role of sub-inspector, have done their job flawlessly.
Even though the alliance of Gautham, Rajesh, Anand and Adhik who try to kill Vivek Prasanna don’t have much dialogue, their actions get attention.
Cinematographer Ashwin Noel has been the biggest strength of the film. The story of traveling in the forest is excitingly displayed and the events happening in the same place are shown from different angles to make you enjoy.
Music director Renjith Unni’s background score adds to the dynamism of the scenes. Although there are no songs in the film, the background score lends a huge hand to the film.
Director Thanabalan Govindaraj has told what he wanted to say elegantly and at the same time without imposing unnecessary things in the story of one night and one day.
Director Thanapalan Govindaraj, who grabs our attention within a few minutes of the film’s start, moves the scenes briskly with two characters and makes us enjoy it. However, the same situation did not last in the second half, which made the film a bit weak.
The way in which the condition of a person fighting for his life is shown is a violation of logic and the reason for killing Vivek Prasanna is not emphasized which gives the film some slack. However, who is trying to murder Vivek Prasanna? The suspense hides the flaws in the film and makes it enjoyable.
All in all, ‘Barundakutu Ur Sparrow’ satisfies us as a sparrow even though it doesn’t fly as much as a hawk.
