Karunas Aadhaar Movie Review
Karunas, a construction worker, and his wife Rithvika stay at the construction site. Karunas takes Rithvika to the hospital when she suddenly feels pain and is three months pregnant. He is accompanied by Iniya Selva, who has a criminal background, and Rithvika, who is giving birth, is also in the hospital. Meanwhile, Karunas’ wife leaves the baby at the hospital and goes missing, while his companion Iniya is mysteriously found dead at the back of the hospital.

Karunas complains to the police to find his missing wife and based on that complaint the police find Rithvika? No?, what is the background behind Iniya’s death? That is ‘Aadhaar’. Even though the government has given the Aadhaar card as a personal identity, they have tried to emphasize that the people in the same government apparatus can destroy the identity completely if they want to. Although Karunas is the protagonist of the story, he also appears as a character in the film.

Karunas, who dazzles us by acting in the scenes where he appeals to the police station to find his missing wife with an infant, has played a sinful man in many such films, instead of pitying him, we get angry. It is good for him and the fans to stop making us feel sad by pretending to be a hero and make us laugh by playing comedy.
Karunas, Riythvika in Aadhaar Movie Review
Rithvika, who plays the wife of Karunas, plays the central character who moves the story even though she shows her head every now and then. Arun Pandian, who plays the role of an elderly cop, tries the patience of the viewers by acting very…very…patient to portray himself as a very patient man. Baahubali Prabhakar who plays the role of a police inspector, Dileepan who plays the role of Iniya’s brother and Uma Riazkhan who plays the role of a top police officer have done their job flawlessly. Music by Srikanth Deva, “Honey Candy…Manga Piece…” is a repetitive song.

The background music goes along with the story. Cinematographer Mahesh Muthuswamy, who has shot the scenes according to the story, has shown the characters naturally and keeps us traveling with the plot.

Director Ramnath Palanikumar has tried to emphatically tell a story that brings to light the dark sides of the police like films like ‘Visharanai’ and ‘Writer’.

What happened to the missing Ritwika? What is the background behind Iniya’s mysterious death? While questions like these create anticipation and make us connect with the film, the slow-moving screenplay and lengthy scenes make the film boring.

All in all, ‘Aadhaar’ is a crybaby.
